It's 2500 AD? Where Will Your Descendants Be?
The planet has warmed up considerably, sea levels have risen dramatically, most of the world population (those who have survived the chaos of mass migration north and resource wars) are living in isolated, well-guarded "population retreats" along the Arctic Circle regions of the Earth.
This cli fi movie is about life in one of these so-called "polar cities". Year 2500 AD.
Only 200,000 people remain on Earth, "breeding pairs" and their offspring, to ensure the continuation of the human species.
Most survivors are living with fear, a deep paralyzing fear. Life in a polar city is "nasty, brutish and short...."
But for one couple in "Polar City 401" in northern Alaska, hope springs eternal, and they and their three children make plans for the future, a future they hope will give mankind a second chance!
